Are you looking to get more out of your personal Bible study? Need help understanding how to walk through a passage and understand it in clear and relevant ways? Our online Inductive Bible Study Course may be just the course for you. It is designed to teach Bible students the four basic principles for every Bible study. The simple principles you learn can be applied to various areas of your life and ministry, whether you are studying the Bible in your devotions, leading your family Bible times, or writing Bible studies as you evangelize and disciple.
This course is designed as a shorter version of ABWE’s “Methods of Bible Study,” a course designed around J. Scott Duvall and J. Daniel Hays, titled Grasping God’s Word: A Hands-On Approach to Reading, Interpreting, and Applying the Bible (Zondervan, 2012). The longer college level course helps the student understand various elements of genre and hermeneutical principles, while this shortened course is designed to be more practical for the everyday Bible student who needs to understand the key first steps to every Bible study.
There are no exams associated with this course, but the course does include numerous hands-on Bible study exercises that you will work through with your individual course proctor.
There is a $100 flat fee for this course.
