Happy Good Friday!

We may be considered foolish…

Today we celebrate a powerful and pivotal day on the Christian calendar, Good Friday.

While the rest of the world may see an ancient Jewish teacher dying on a Roman cross as something foolish to believe in (1 Corinthians 1:18), we know the truth. The truth is that Jesus Christ, God’s own Son, God incarnate, took our place and bore the wrath of God.

Let that sink in. We deserved God’s wrath, judgment, and righteous punishment. Yet, because of Jesus’s great love for us, he died and opened the way for us to be reconciled with God.

That’s why you support, give, and pray for those who go into the world and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. God’s grace through Jesus Christ covers all sins for those that believe and he is ransoming a people from every nation, tribe, and tongue.
