Happy Thanksgiving From ABWE!

Happy Thanksgiving from ABWE! It’s hard to believe that another year is quickly coming to a close. This season brings a favorite tradition of mine: recounting the small and mighty ways that God has worked not just in my own life, but within ABWE and his global church. 

Here are a few ways I’ve seen God working in and through your ministries: 

• New church plants and baptisms in England despite a culture that is radically post-Christian. 
• The Hospital of Hope Team celebrated 10 years of meeting the medical needs of northern Togo while staying committed to seeing Christ proclaimed to every patient. 
• Disaster relief efforts provided material aid and gospel witness in places like Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa. 
• Church partnerships expanded with 73 new churches supporting national partners through Live Global, 28 new churches sending missionaries to the field, and 12 One Day Missions Conferences held across the country. 
• Over 440 people attended our 24-Hour Demo events to see how they can take the next step in missions. 
• 67 new missionary teammates were commissioned for gospel work this year with 37 completing their pre-field ministry and sent to the field. 

There are so many more things I could mention.  

Lastly, I’d like to say thank you to you. It’s a joy to visit some of you in your fields during the year and to see and hear the many incredible ways you are serving the Lord Jesus Christ, spreading the gospel message, and bringing hope to the lost and broken in the world. You inspire and encourage me more than I can adequately convey.
