Happy Thanksgiving from ABWE!
In this time of Thanksgiving, we are so thankful for you, our dear friends and teammates. Your dedication and work to proclaim the gospel to the nations inspires and drives us in all that we do.
Like Paul and the church in Phillipi, you are constantly in our prayers. We pray that you’ve seen God’s marvelous work on display this year. We look forward, with eager anticipation, to what he will do in and through your ministries in 2024.
In some highlights of our year at ABWE, we’ve seen:
- Seeing so many of you at Missionary Enrichment (ME) Conference in Baltimore this past summer.
- 272 people attend our 24-Hour Demo event to learn more about the global opportunities available to see how they can discern God’s calling on their lives and how they can support the Great Commission.
- 85 new missionaries have been appointed to join you on fields around the world.
- The Hôpital Baptiste Biblique Vision Project, which transforms the capabilities of our hospital in South Togo was fully funded this year!
- We announced The Goroka Project to bring much needed improvements and expansion to the Goroka Baptist Bible College and Seigu Clinic as they reach a new generation of believers.
- You continue spreading the gospel and working with national partners in some of the most challenging areas of the world including:
- Providing humanitarian aid and assistance to those effected by the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
- Distributing funds and running medical clinics to Ukrainian refugees and in war-torn areas
- Spreading the gospel and helping Israelis despite conflict on their doorstep
You are doing amazing work, and we can’t be more thankful to be part of a global family that is reaching the nations for Christ.
