How To Share The Gospel
Episode 1: It Starts with Knowing God
As a believer, how often are you thinking about sharing the gospel with others? Are you boldly sharing the hope of Jesus on a regular basis or does approaching the topic make you uncomfortable or nervous?
A good place to start is with yourself. What does your own view or God look like? Because sharing our hope in Jesus begins with an overflowing of our own relationship with Christ from our hearts.
Discussion Questions:
- Why is knowing God so crucial before we can share our faith?
- What is the difference between knowing God and knowing about God?
- Where would you be in life if someone didn’t “fish” for you or share the gospel?
- Have you gotten over the character and nature of God?
Bible Verse Meditation: Hebrews 10:10-14, ESV
“And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.”
Prayer
“Heavenly Father, we thank you for your matchless love for us, for your perfect sacrificial work on the cross, and for providing a way for sinners to be with you, a holy God, for eternity. Would you help us to never tire of that wonderful truth? That you a perfect and holy God has redeemed a sinful people.”
