How To Share The Gospel

Episode 4: Proclaiming the Gospel

When sharing the gospel, we must be careful to not minimize the gospel message, making it all about a loving God or loving others when it’s so much more. While we share our lives with unbelievers, it’s important to proclaim the good news of the gospel resulting in a confession that Jesus is Lord because of his perfect work on the cross and victory over death.

Discussion Questions:

  • Why are we originally enemies of God?
  • What is substitutionary atonement?
  • What is the good news gospel?
  • What’s the difference between sharing your testimony and proclaiming the gospel?

Bible Verse Meditation: 1 Corinthians 15:20, ESV

“But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.”

Prayer

“Lord, give us boldness to proclaim the good news of the gospel in a world that rejects it. Help us convey the truth urgently, lovingly, and for your glory.”
