Church Planting in Nicaragua
For nearly two decades, ABWE has been part of a thriving movement of church planting throughout Nicaragua.
Recognizing the many towns and communities still without a gospel witness, ABWE missionaries and national pastors established the Institute of Church Planters in 2007 to equip future church leaders to reach their nation.
Since then, ABWE missionaries have witnessed the Nicaraguan church fully embrace church planting. More than 100 new church plants have now been started by men trained and discipled at the ICP. As their zeal for Christ and his church has spread, they have launched two satellite ICP campuses in Nicaragua and Honduras, each national led—with demand to expand into additional locations.
As the ICP continues to train church leaders and impact communities, they need help from fellow believers in North America. There are several ways to partner with this dynamic, rapidly growing ministry.
Partner to Train Church Planters in Nicaragua
Support the Institute of Church Planters
By supporting the ICP, you can help provide vital resources for equipping future church leaders throughout Central America. Funds are needed to sustain not only the main campus in Managua and the two existing satellite locations but to establish new campuses in several additional locations where pastors are urgently requesting training.
Teach Short-Term Modules at the ICP
The ICP needs teachers trained in theology and experienced in pastoral ministry to teach short-term modules throughout the year. Topics include theological education, church administration, counseling, evangelism, church-planting strategies, and more. Through your practical investment in these pastors, you can help establish the next generation of the Central American church.
