Hôpital Baptiste Biblique (Togo)
ABOUT MEDICAL MISSIONS IN TOGO, AFRICA
Hôpital Baptiste Biblique (HBB) is a missions-based hospital founded in Togo, Africa in 1985. As a 50-bed, full-service hospital, HBB sees over 18,000 outpatients and 2,500 inpatients with an average of 2,000 surgeries and 600 deliveries per year. The missions hospital is home to a Nurse Training Program, Mobile Health Clinics, and Community Health Evangelism ministry.
While the hospital staff cares for 20,000+ patients annually, their medical mission goes far beyond that. Every patient hears the gospel during their visits, and on average, 14% of patients profess faith in Christ after their stays. The hospital has also helped plant 53 churches in the region, 80% of which are now led by national believers. We’re grateful for this environment where we get to share both physical and spiritual healing inside of and outside of the hospital’s walls.
ABOUT THE FUTURE OF HBB’S MEDICAL MINISTRY
In response to the continuously growing need for healthcare in its community, HBB must adapt and change. The HBB Vision Project will:
· Renovate, enhance, and expand the hospital
· Support surgical and medical programs
· Train Togolese and other African medical personnel for medical evangelism
We need prayer partners and financial partners to come alongside HBB and help fulfill the Great Commission in Togo. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to further God’s work in Africa?
