Job Summary/Primary Role: The Financial Reporting Analyst will be a key member of the Corporate Finance team, supporting the organization’s mission by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing internal financial reports, reconciling accounts, assisting in audit preparation, and monitoring budget variances. The role also involves supporting data integrity processes, providing advanced Excel-based analysis, and assisting the financial services team as needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assists in the preparation of internal financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Analyzes financial data and provides insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborates with other departments to gather necessary information for reporting.
- Prepares and maintains financial schedules and reconciliations.
- Reconciles balance sheet accounts on a regular basis, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Supports the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assists in the preparation and coordination of external audits.
- Compiles and organizes supporting documentation for auditors.
- Addresses auditor inquiries and ensures timely resolution of audit issues.
- Monitors budget variances and reports on financial health indicators.
- Works with department heads to understand variances and recommends corrective actions.
- Contributes to the preparation of forecasts and budget analyses.
- Supports data integrity initiatives.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency of financial data across all systems and reports.
- Participates in the implementation of process improvements and system enhancements.
- Provides support to the financial services teams in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepares and posts journal entries to the general ledger.
- Ensures all entries are accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting standards.
- Maintains detailed records and documentation for all entries.
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
Qualifications: Ability to pass background check and all necessary clearances as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum Prior Experience Required: 2-4 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Experience with Power BI and/or SQL preferred.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
