Departure Readiness Training is an invitation-only training for our prefield missionaries held three times a year, focusing on:
- Making the transition to the mission field
- Major adjustments to living in another culture
- Adapting to your new field team
When should I consider taking this course?
Since this course is designed for preparing to move overseas as a missionary, please communicate with your ABWE prefield coach regarding the appropriate training date you should attend. You might also want to consider coming for ABWE’s Personal Security course that happens earlier in the week. Your prefield coach can help you with the registration process of both courses. The registration deadline is three weeks prior to the start of the training.
