The Position
Reaching Africa’s Unreached (RAU) is looking for someone to help with accounting, financial record keeping, and ministry fund management. This role is a good fit for a person with strong attention to detail, integrity, and an aptitude for organized financial work. You would help track funds, prepare records, and support clear financial processes for the ministry. You would also work with the RAU NGO board as they prepare for yearly audits in Uganda.
The Need
RAU’s facilities include a 25-acre demonstration farm and several buildings used for daily life and gospel work. The campus hosts long-term missionaries, short-term teams, and pastors who come for multi-day training modules. Beyond the campus, RAU serves through evangelistic outreaches, remote local church trainings, dental and medical outreaches, clean water projects through new boreholes, and other ministry efforts. Each of these areas require careful financial oversight so the team can steward resources well and meet NGO requirements.
The Impact
Good accounting helps maintain a platform for other ministry workers to teach, train, serve, and share the good news of Jesus. Your work would support wise decisions and help RAU remain faithful in both ministry and administration. By helping manage funds, track expenditures and prepare for audits, you would serve the pastors, churches, teams, and communities connected to RAU, and help make a lasting difference for the gospel in northern Uganda.
