Has God laid a burden for children’s ministries on your heart? Do you have a passion for children and their spiritual development and maturity? Our team is looking for flexible, relational, open-minded self-starter families, professionals, college grads, and/or interns for children’s ministries. Have you found yourself active in children’s ministries at home and loving it? Do you have infinite patience? Are you long-suffering? Do you seek to give God glory and praise? If so, perhaps God has been equipping you, preparing you for ministry in Brazil.
Missionaries are needed to teach, nurture, guide and comfort children and adolescents as they grow in their faith, form a biblical worldview, and establish a firm foundation on God’s Word.
About 75 percent of Brazilians identify as Catholic. In the last three decades Brazil has also grown to be the largest Pentecostal nation of the world. Only four percent of the 200 million people claim to be non-Pentecostal Evangelical believers. In Southern Brazil, less than two percent of people identify as Christians.
We seek individuals to partner with missionaries and Brazilian nationals on the ground to share the gospel, plant and multiply local churches, train leaders, and ultimately, assist Brazilians to continue fulfilling the Great Commission by sending out their own people as missionaries. The sustainability of that mission, depends upon, hinges upon those building blocks of faith established and experienced in the children and adolescents who will in time form the next generation of believers.
Use your passion and skills with children and adolescents to help fulfill the Great Commission. As Christians, Jesus has called us to go and make disciples of all nations, and we believe that process isn’t completed until these little ones are discipled and gathered into a local community of believers: a church. Church planting is the heartbeat of evangelism, and it’s at the core of who we are and what we do. It’s hard work, but for those called to the challenge, there is no greater reward on earth than watching a community of believers grow in their faith, and begin to understand their own role in the Great Commission.
