The Position
Has the Lord blessed you with skills in training, education, community development, agriculture, healthcare or more? Then you should join our Gambian field team! Be a vital part of God’s mission by investing intentionally and strategically in the core ministry of the Great Commission. Help us advance our rural ministry team through Community Health Evangelism (CHE) and make a meaningful impact by helping people engage with the gospel in their heart language.
The Need
We seek dedicated individuals to join our team and share the gospel with the Wolof and Fulani people groups at our rural ministry center. We need eager team members willing to learn Gambian national languages and embrace the many gospel opportunities available.
Our team is looking for people with skills or interests in any of the following areas:
- Education (Formal teaching credentials are not required)
- Translation
- Health Care (Any level of training, including direct care and health prevention/education)
- Public Health
- Agriculture
- Skills Training (e.g., carpentry, masonry, welding, computers, cell phones, electrical work, etc.)
- Language Learning
- Community Health Evangelism (CHE) or Transformational Community Development (TCD)
- Bible Storying
- Small Business Skills (Income-generating projects, money management)
- Animal Husbandry
The Impact
For over 25 years our rural ministry center has trained Gambian nationals in adult literacy and small business skills striving to transform communities for Christ as well as training missionaries in language and culture learning to share the gospel in heart language
With your knowledge and skills, you can become an integral part in sharing the gospel to the Wolof and Fulani. Over a dozen countries throughout the world host these unreached people. Less than 2% are Evangelical Christians and over 90% are Muslims. Evangelical resources are available in these languages, but we need help to get these into the hands of those who want to know the Good News and to equip those who are hungry for the truth of the gospel.
