The Position
This opportunity is for those shaped by the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1—servants affirmed by their local churches, ready to invest their lives in disciple making and healthy church planting.
Teammates will begin with 18–24 months of full-time Arabic language study and may require operating a small business, working remotely, or employment with a local organization in order to stay long term. Many options exist in the region to meet this need.
The Need
The name of Jesus is not yet known or worshiped in this part of North Africa. These rural, tribal communities have begun moving into the nearby cities, but the spiritual strongholds remain.
But we believe that the biblical Jesus will be worshiped here—and we want to be part of that. We’re praying for a team and a church marked by Psalm 37:4—people who delight in the Lord, labor in joy, and live to make Christ known.
Our goal is simple but bold: to see gospel-transformed lives produce biblically sound churches that multiply. That means walking with people through everyday life—language learning, raising families, working jobs, opening businesses—all as acts of worship.
The Vision
We want to see a network of local churches planted throughout this region of North Africa—churches that are baptistic, confessional, and grounded in gospel truth. Churches where covenant membership is meaningful and spiritual growth is real.
We’re positioned near the edge of the 10/40 Window, where the gospel has yet to reach millions. From here, we dream of seeing a movement that spreads eastward, fueled by Christ’s promise in Matthew 16:18: “I will build my church.”
Final Word: Prayer
Above all, we know we’re dependent on God. Prayer isn’t just a discipline—it’s our lifeline. We echo the words of Martin Luther: “Use me, dear Lord, as your instrument… only do not forsake me; for if I were to continue alone, I would quickly ruin everything.”
