The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Events Planner to coordinate evangelistic events across Australia. This role involves both event management and administrative support, ensuring that outreach initiatives run smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate is passionate about sharing the gospel, skilled in planning and logistics, working with various levels of leadership and cultures and capable of handling administrative tasks with excellence.

The Need

Event Planning & Coordination
– Plan, organize, and execute evangelistic events, including conferences, outreach programs, community gatherings, and special services.
– Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, permits, transportation, catering, and audio-visual needs.
– Develop event timelines, budgets, and promotional strategies to maximize impact.
– Collaborate with church leaders, volunteers, and ministry partners to ensure seamless event execution.
– Oversee event setup, on-site management, and post-event evaluations.

Administrative Support
– Manage event-related correspondence, including emails, invitations, and follow-ups.
– Maintain detailed records of event planning, expenses, and attendee data.
– Prepare reports and updates for leadership on event outcomes and effectiveness.
– Assist in volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling for events.
– Handle general office tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing supplies, and organizing files.

Marketing & Outreach
– Work with the ministry team to develop promotional materials, social media content, and event advertisements.
– Network with churches, ministries, and Christian organizations to increase participation.
– Engage with local communities to promote events and encourage attendance.

Qualifications & Skills
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Experience in event planning, project management, or administration.
– Passion for evangelism and a heart for reaching people with the gospel.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.

Preferred Qualifications
– Previous experience in ministry, missions, or Christian event planning.
– Familiarity with the Australian cultural and religious landscape.
– Graphic design or social media marketing experience is a plus.
