Ministry Development Leaders

The Position

If you have a gift for developing engaging and rewarding ministry programs, our Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) team needs your help. The Ministry Development Leader will work closely with ABWE missionaries and T&T nationals to create and lead activities that encourage discussions about faith.

As ministry development leader, you will:

• Work with T&T believers who can help you understand the outreach programs that will encourage new believers to welcome Christ into their hearts
• Bring past experience working in ministry development to T&T, where you’ll demonstrate skills such as organization, leadership and financial management
• Have a strong grasp of Scripture, and the ability to develop meaningful, authentic relationships within the community
• Be a committed Christian who welcomes the opportunity to share your testimony, and answers tough questions about faith and beliefs with confidence and sincerity
• Plan and direct ministries that allow outreach to all populations, including programs such as counseling, religious instruction, sports evangelism and others

The Need

Helping in what God is doing in Trinidad and Tobago doesn’t mean you need to be perfect. You simply need to be focused on others. Everywhere you turn in T&T, you’ll find the worldly temptations that lead His followers astray. Substance abuse, unstable families and a high crime rate have become social norms. With ABWE, you can help create an environment where spirituality occurs not only in thought but also in practice. By reaching younger nationals, we can help people make God-honoring choices and live lives worthy of Him.
