Missionary Teammates

Mexico

The Position

Have you ever thought about the impact your life could make serving in Mexico? We are looking for church-planting partners burdened to work alongside Mexican believers to train and assist them in planting new churches near Mexico City, Queretaro, Culiacán, and Monterrey. We need individuals trained and experienced in discipleship, evangelism, and every facet of local church ministry.

The Need

Some are wary of living or working in Mexico due to internationally reported drug cartel violence. To be sure, Mexico is facing times of uncertainty, but those very circumstances have provided opportunities for the gospel to go forth. Mexico continues to be a country entrenched in spiritism, traditionalism, and false gospels. As Mexicans search for the truth, there is a need for evangelical missions in indigenous and urban settings.

The Impact

Since the late 1980s, ABWE has played an active role in establishing numerous churches across Mexico, specifically in regions including and surrounding Mexico City, Queretaro, Monterrey, Culiacán, and Metepec.

The Good Soil Bible Training Center was launched in 2016 as a place where Mexicans can receive hands-on training, mentoring, and teaching to equip them to minister to their own people.

Church planting is not easy, but we are convinced that planting local churches where Mexicans can hear the gospel of Christ, be discipled to live a new life through Christ, and be trained to reach their own country, is the best way to reach Mexico today.

There are many opportunities to contribute in Mexico. Individuals who are motivated, collaborative, and adaptable may wish to consider joining the ABWE Mexico team. This call is for those burdened to partner with Mexicans in a culturally-diverse setting focused on church development and discipleship.
