We are excited about hosting your team and are looking forward to what the Lord will do in and through you when you are here.
We firmly believe in having you and your team partner with the local national church where the missions team plays a supporting role in the ministry of the church. At the same time, the trip is about what your team will be learning about a new culture, about God and what He is doing in the world through missions, as well about how they will serve alongside other believers in a different culture.
Since there are so many ways to accomplish that and opportunities to do almost any type of ministry, we are able to use the gifts and talents of your team members for the most effective work. We don’t want a team to do VBS that would much rather be doing construction, and vice versa!
Trip Focuses
- Youth/Children Outreach (VBS, Sports Outreach)
- Women’s Outreach (retreats, workshops)
- Men’s Outreach (these are the tough ones, but the church needs men!),
- Construction,
- Door-to-door Evangelism,
- Sports Outreach,
- Topical Church Retreats/Workshops (Marriage, Family, Finances, English, Music! Whatever your gifts are, come and teach others!)
Cost
$100 per person per night all-inclusive in-country (room/board, transportation, translators, basic ministry supplies).
Additional Costs: Airfare to MGA, Launch Point clearance, $10 Customs fee at the airport, personal shopping/souvenirs).
Team Members Needed
12 to 15 faithful, flexible followers of Jesus who are eager and able to pour their lives out for Christ and His Church! (fewer than 12 may affect $100 cost). Ages 16 and up is ideal.
Meet Your Hosts: Craig & Cassandra Fisher

Craig serves as the Director of the Nicaragua Ministry Center, known locally as Centro ABEM, which is a 90-acre property that exists to accelerate the church planting ministries of ABWE. It provides a dedicated, peaceful, and central place for leadership training, camps, retreats, conferences, and hosting short-term mission teams. Cassandra teaches Bible class at a local school and is a regular substitute teacher at Nicaragua Christian Academy International. She also helps in the administration of Centro ABEM. We also love to host short-term missions teams that reinforce the ministry of our local church plant partners, working alongside them through youth and children’s ministries, door-to-door evangelism, construction, and other ministry opportunities.
