The Position
The Village of Light School for the Blind in Southern Togo urgently needs an experienced and committed school administrator, starting in 2024. We are looking for someone with good business and administrative skills, who loves children and has a passion to share Jesus with them. Some experience with elementary education or working with disabilities is helpful, but not required.
The Need
Village of Light is a Christian boarding school for K-6th grade, providing an education for blind children who are often neglected in this animistic culture, which views a handicap as a curse. By the grace of God, Village of Light has been giving hope to the blind, and helping national Christians learn how to serve the least of these, for almost 50 years.
However, there are still several unreached people groups in Togo, many of whom are influenced by folk-Islam. We are in need of missionaries to lead and equip the Togolese believers to conduct cross-cultural evangelism within Togo to plant the seed of the gospel among these people groups.
