That’s why ABWE created Launch Point—our official pathway for missions trips and volunteer service lasting two months or less.

Through Launch Point, you and your church can step into meaningful ministry alongside ABWE missionaries and partners serving in more than 90 countries. Every trip is designed to bless the field, strengthen local churches, and help you discern your role in God’s global mission.

Who Can Go?

Launch Point trips are for individuals, families, and church teams—whether you’re exploring missions for the first time or looking to take the next step toward long-term service. Participants may:

• Use skills and talents in evangelism, teaching, medical care, or other ministries
• Encourage and serve missionaries and national believers
• Discern a specific call to ministry
• Explore long-term missionary opportunities

Trip Options

• General ministry experiences: evangelism, VBS, teaching, and community outreach
• Specialized ministry experiences: medical work, construction, and other skilled service
• Local opportunities: volunteer service at ABWE’s International Headquarters in Pennsylvania
