Finish the Center for a Growing Gospel Work
Dear Friend,
Last year, God powerfully provided a property for the South Asia Ministry Center—land that includes a building and sits in the heart of their densely populated, unreached city. Your generosity and faithful prayer helped make a decades-long dream become reality, and we are truly thankful.
Last month, we saw God move again. More than 50 pastors and their families gathered in tents on the property to celebrate the first graduation of the Church Planters’ Institute.
“Very soon, many of these pastors will be sent off to different places across South Asia to start new church plants,” said Paul, an ABWE Live Global missionary.
But as the team’s training and outreach expand across the region, the need to remodel the facility has become urgent. Rather than cancel events, Paul and his team are using the property even before it is functional: hosting a pastors’ conference outdoors in 110° F heat, discipling church members in partially constructed offices, and sheltering a persecuted church planter in rooms without appliances.
And many plans are on hold. Their church plant is unable to multiply into a second congregation while still renting a hotel meeting hall each Sunday, and their medical and educational outreaches remain without dedicated facilities.
This summer, we invite you to partner with us again to finish the South Asia Ministry Center. It will cost $320,000 to remodel, renovate, and furnish the existing building, including:
- Remodeling the ground floor into an auditorium for the growing church plant
- Refurbishing space for academic tutoring for impoverished children to allow long-term community impact
- Building and furnishing classrooms, offices, a library, kitchens, and lodging facilities for the Church Planters’ Institute (CPI)
- Completing construction, framing, and roofing on the second and third floors to launch an evangelistic medical clinic and crisis pregnancy counseling center to help protect baby girls from sex-selective abortion
Any contribution will help accomplish these renovations. Paul and his team feel the urgency to complete the CPI meeting spaces by the start of the semester in August, and the lower floors for their largest outreach opportunities in December.
We’ve been amazed at how God has already used this team to reach South Asians, and we can’t wait to see what he does through a finished ministry center. Give today to help complete it.
In Christ,
Paul L. Davis
