Wilber Centeno built a successful business in Lima, but his success came at a great cost. His marriage was broken, his children were hurting, and he despaired over his family’s future.
Then God changed everything.
After visiting an ABWE church plant in their neighborhood, Wilber and his wife, Elizabeth, heard the gospel clearly and came to understand that salvation is found in Christ alone—not through anything we can do for ourselves. Wilber and Elizabeth both made professions of faith, and in 2024, followed the Lord in baptism. A year later, so did all four of their children. Their family began to heal, and today, they actively serve in the church as Wilber prepares for full-time ministry.
Their testimony is one example of what God is doing through the Vida Nueva Ministry Center in Peru.
This growing congregation is dedicated to reaching local families. Through their Sunday services and activities—held outdoors since they don’t have a permanent meeting place—they regularly witness God at work as the lost hear the good news, families are restored, and believers grow in Christ. Now, with 250 members, the church must find a permanent home so it can keep reaching its community with the hope of Jesus.
Your gift can help provide that place.
When you give toward the Vida Nueva Ministry Center, you make room for more stories like Wilber’s. Will you partner with us to reach the lost in Lima?
