Many parts of the world lack consistent gospel witness. In some places the church is young and fragile. In others, the good news has never crossed cultural lines. God’s glory deserves to be known among every people—and he is calling his church to act.
Flood the Nations is our response to that call—a sustained effort to see the knowledge of the glory of the Lord cover the earth (Habakkuk 2:14). We work with local churches, national leaders, and missionaries on the ground so that whole communities might hear, trust, and live under Christ’s lordship.

Featured Country: Togo
Togo is a small West African country that is home to just over eight million people who make up at least 46 unique people groups. Many of these groups are unreached with the saving knowledge of the gospel.
ABWE began leading church planting missions in Togo in 1974. Ministry opportunities have since grown tremendously and even created a platform for outreach into neighboring countries.
ABWE’s medical teams have profoundly affected Togo through their service to communities in two hospital settings: The Hospital of Hope (HoH) in northern Togo, which has an impact that reaches into several surrounding countries, and the Hôpital Baptiste Biblique (HBB, Karolyn Kempton Memorial Hospital) in southern Togo. Dozens of churches and Christian schools can trace their roots back to the ministry of these hospitals and their community outreaches.
Missionaries in Togo also serve in education, discipleship, language training, and FM radio ministry through Hope Radio.
As the Togolese church continues to grow, we see great need for theological educators to help the Christian community begin to train more of its own pastors and missionaries. There is surely a ministry fit for anyone who desires to participate in the growth of the gospel and the church in Togo—is God leading you to join us?
