Job Summary/Primary Role:  The Digital Engagement Strategist plays a key role in ABWE’s digital marketing efforts, with a specific focus on growth, donor engagement, and new contact acquisition. This position is responsible for setting and executing digital engagement strategies, creating engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and analyzing social data. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ by leveraging technology and marketing tools to engage individuals in ABWE’s mission and ministry.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with the Director of Communications and Engagement to set digital engagement strategies and initiatives.
  • Formulates and implements content campaigns and other resources to acquire new constituents for ABWE.
  • Creates and optimizes supporting content and collateral for campaign execution, focusing on conversion.
  • Implements and manages targeted advertising campaigns on social media to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Develops engaging content for ABWE’s social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Collaborates with other departments to manage ABWE’s reputation across platforms.
  • Ensures consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date information on webpages and profiles.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries received from public channels.
  • Fosters positive and meaningful engagement with ABWE’s social media audience.
  • Analyzes social media data, including engagement metrics, feedback, and ad spend.
  • Implements and manages campaigns using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track and analyze website performance and user behavior.
  • Develops and executes email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, ensuring targeted and personalized communication with ABWE’s audience.
  • Manages and optimizes paid advertising campaigns through Meta Ad Manager, focusing on maximizing ROI and engagement.
  • Utilizes SEO principles to improve the visibility and ranking of ABWE’s digital content.
  • Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepares regular reports on social media performance and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure ABWE remains at the forefront of digital engagement.
  • Assists with administrative duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.

Qualifications:  Ability to pass background check and all necessary clearances as mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Minimum Prior Experience Required: Prior experience in executing social media strategies and managing social media accounts.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with all major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).

  • Ability to follow branding and editorial style guides.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design tools.
  • Proven experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for tracking and analyzing website performance.
  • Certification in Mailchimp or equivalent email marketing automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ad Manager for managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and tools to improve content visibility and search rankings.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
