The Opportunity
ABWE exists to fulfill the Great Commission by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements among every people.
As our Product Analyst, you’ll serve as an important connection between ABWE teams and our Digital Product team, helping ensure that Rock RMS and related digital solutions effectively support ministry across the organization.
You’ll work directly with users to understand their needs, document requirements, coordinate with technical teams and development partners, and keep projects moving forward. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to grow your technical and analytical skills while gaining hands-on experience in product analysis, systems support, testing, and project coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Meet with teams across ABWE to understand needs and gather requirements for reports, dashboards, workflows, and Rock RMS enhancements.
- Translate ministry and business needs into clear specifications for developers and technical staff.
- Serve as a key point of contact between Rock RMS users and the technical team.
- Coordinate and track customization projects, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Provide users with timely updates, basic troubleshooting, and support.
- Test new customizations and Rock RMS updates to ensure solutions meet documented requirements.
- Maintain system documentation, process information, and user resources.
- Collaborate with Digital Product, Technology Operations, external development partners, and teams across the organization.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical users.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and databases.
- The ability to analyze processes, identify needs, and help develop practical solutions.
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach to serving users and teams.
- Internship experience or up to one year of experience in product analysis, business analysis, IT support, or a customer-facing technical role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Rock RMS, SQL, reporting tools, workflow design, user stories, or test cases is a plus.
