Project Coordinator

The Opportunity

ABWE exists to fulfill the Great Commission by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements among every people.

As our Project Coordinator, you’ll play an important role on the Digital Product team by helping projects stay organized, on schedule, and clearly communicated from beginning to end.

You’ll support projects throughout the full project life cycle, maintain project management tools, coordinate meetings and milestones, track work across internal teams and external vendors, and help ensure stakeholders receive timely and accurate updates. This role offers hands-on experience in project coordination, delivery processes, and vendor management, with opportunities to grow toward greater project management responsibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain project management tools, ensuring tasks, assignments, deadlines, and project statuses remain accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate new project requests and help move work through each stage of the project life cycle.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and delays across internal teams and external partners.
  • Schedule project meetings, working sessions, reviews, and stakeholder touchpoints while documenting decisions and next steps.
  • Prepare regular project status updates and help maintain the Digital Product roadmap.
  • Coordinate testing, user acceptance, and project delivery processes.
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, decision logs, and process resources.
  • Collaborate with Digital Product, Technology Operations, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure work stays organized and nothing falls through the cracks.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, deadlines, and moving pieces at the same time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear updates to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Comfort using project management and collaboration tools, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
  • The ability to coordinate meetings and accurately document decisions, action items, and follow-up.
  • A proactive, service-oriented approach to communication and follow-through.
  • One to two years of experience in project coordination, administration, or team support is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project delivery methods such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches is a plus.
  • Experience working with external vendors, contractors, software delivery, or technology teams is also a plus.
