Ndungu Kebbeh Health Center
About the Ndungu Kebbeh Health Center
The Ndungu Kebbeh Health Center is located in the rural village of Ndungu Kebbeh on the north bank of the Gambia river. The health center has a successful outpatient clinic, with over 9,000 visits per year, and an antenatal and infant welfare clinic. On top of this, it provides minor surgical procedures, orthopedic care, obstetrical procedures, laboratory tests, and an emergency ambulance transport. ABWE registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants serve alongside Gambian doctors and ancillary staff.
The Health Center’s Mission
The medical staff doesn’t just care for the physical needs of the Wolof people. They also care for their spiritual needs by presenting the gospel to each patient that enters the health center. The Ndungu Kebbeh Health Center is a faithful example of how quality healthcare and the gospel can join to reach the hurting and the lost.
