Good ministry depends on good stewardship. At ABWE’s medical field in Bangladesh, the finances that keep a hospital and many ministries running must be managed with care. Come alongside our field treasurer and help steward it well.
The Opportunity
You would assist the field treasurer with daily financial tasks, serving roughly 40 to 50 ABWE staff and 450 Bangladeshi employees at Memorial Christian Hospital. Experience in accounting or finance helps, but it is not required. A willingness to serve and learn matters most.
The Need
ABWE’s work in Bangladesh is primarily medical, with ministry in many areas, and coordinating people and finances across them is demanding. The largest and most costly is Memorial Christian Hospital (MCH), serving since 1966. Today this 60-bed hospital cares for a population of more than 10 million and treats about 40,000 outpatients a year in a predominantly Muslim nation, with specialties in obstetrics, general surgery, orthopedics, and family medicine. Sound stewardship keeps every part of that ministry running.
Your Impact
Two health clinics and four church plants share Christ’s love within driving distance of the hospital campus. Expatriate and Bangladeshi staff speak truth with patients and their families, and compassionate care strengthens the witness of local believers.
