The Position
In the ever-expanding Southeast Asian cities, millions of people still live in darkness, desperately needing to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Long-term church planters are needed to help establish truly indigenous churches that will bring light to this dark area of the world. Join the ABWE team in planting an “International Church” that desires to partner with the Khmer first generation church as they transition to a second generation church and catch the passion of church planting — through evangelism and discipleship.
The Need
Southeast Asia is one of the most challenging, dynamic, and rewarding locations to work in missions. There is a tremendous need to reach the people who identify as Christian yet have not heard the truth of the Word of God, as well as to develop meaningful, life-changing relationships with unreached people groups including many Muslims and Buddhists who call this region home. Many Southeast Asians are curious about the gospel, and if you are ready to share the Scripture in a meaningful and engaging way, we can use you in Southeast Asia.
The Impact
ABWE strives to reach Southeast Asians by implementing strategies that allow us to connect with people on a more personal level, like coffee house ministries and offering courses in English as a second language.
