The Position
Teach in a community-based school that raises English competency in reading, writing, speaking and listening while demonstrating and sharing the gospel.
The Need
Every year, 200,000 immigrants – mostly from China, India and the Middle East – settle permanently in Australia. Hundreds of thousands more arrive to study in world-class universities or for temporary employment. For many, English is a second language and their competency is lacking. More urgently, most have never heard about Christ.
The Impact
Through this ministry, people are saved. And there’s more: churches have been planted and ministry workers have gone to other parts of the region equipped to teach English for evangelism.
