The Position:
This person should possess a desire to share the love of Christ with military members and their families. Training others as chaplains and aiding pastors to better meet the unique needs of combat ready men is incredibly valuable. Offering a listening ear and sound biblical counsel plays a vital role in a both a soldiers and veteran’s life.
The need goes well beyond the uniform. Churches can be planted, and lives can be changed through godly and caring people who are open to serving in this ripe mission field.
The Need:
An internal state of war on drug cartels has ravaged Ecuador, and every person is dealing with loss and trauma. Families have been torn apart by grief and uncertainty. Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Sailors all face uncertainty with constant personal and family threats by the drug cartels. Extorsion, kidnappings, and murders are constant amongst the cartels, military, and police forces. The bond forged in the trenches of battle is deep. Sharing the love of Christ with these men and women who sacrificed much for the fight for freedom is crucial. The ABWE Team Ecuador and EMS-Exalting My Savior is presented with many open doors for ministry amongst the military.
