Location: Ker Serign (urban ministry center) and/or Ndungu Kebbeh (rural ministry center)
The ministry focus in The Gambia is evangelism to Muslims, with an emphasis on the unreached Wolof and Fulani people groups. Our vision is to share the gospel, plant churches, disciple followers of Christ, and prepare Gambians to become future leaders of local churches. We are ministering in the platforms of adult literacy, community development, radio ministry, personal relational evangelism, guesthouse ministry, and a medical clinic partnership.

There are many open doors to ministry in The Gambia and we have freedom of religion. Therefore, there are many opportunities that we can explore for short-term teams to come alongside of our existing ministries. We are a small team and teams who wish to come alongside of our career missionaries to serve, pray with and encourage us would be a great help.
Some of the ministry opportunities are more specific to urban or rural ministry centers.
Dates
Depends on the ministry focus; however, many of our ministries close down for the month of July each year.
Cost Per Person
2-week trip with airfare $2,800 – $3,200 per person (airfare costs $1200-$1800)
Team Details
Depending on the ministry an ideal team would have from 4-6 team members or up to 20. Adult, Youth, and Families are welcome.
We are excited to host more short-term teams to come alongside of career missionaries and our existing ministries. Short term teams provide great encouragement and support to our small team and provide invaluable help for projects that are challenging to manage on our own. Our desire with each short-term team is that they would experience the Lord in a different way and that as they meet the beautiful people of The Gambia they would have faces to their prayers for lost Gambians and the lost around the world.
