The Position

Do you have a gift for sharing the good news and the ability to engage church members with music? As a worship leader in Germany you’ll alter the lives of believers and nonbelievers forever, and join a strong church-planting team.

As a worship leader in Germany, you will:

• Allow the Lord to use your passion for him and your ability in music to lead worship in the context of a local church
• Develop meaningful relationships with people as a means for evangelism and discipleship
• Minister with the goal of developing worship teams and leaders

The Need

Germany’s history as a Christian nation is at risk. This geographically and culturally important nation is critical to the success of evangelical Christianity in Western Europe. With nearly 83 million residents, less than 1.8 percent call themselves believers. Less than 5 percent of the population goes to church on a regular basis. Instead of investing in the eternal, they attempt to substitute material goods, status and entertainment. The German people have a longing for satisfaction, but don’t know why they cannot achieve it. As a worship leader with ABWE, you can share the Word of God with those who need it the most.

The Impact

ABWE works across Germany alongside of national partners to provide guidance and support to evangelical communities. You can work in cities and regions where there is little evangelical presence. ABWE also operates summer camps, as well as youth and children’s ministries during the week.
