Director | Coordinator of Administration Management

Bangladesh

Behind every patient cared for and every door the gospel opens in Bangladesh stands a team that must be organized, funded, and legally cleared to serve. Memorial Christian Hospital needs a director to coordinate that administration so the ministry keeps moving.

The Opportunity

  • manage five to ten Bangladeshi administrative staff and the hospital budget
  • oversee all field administration
  • coordinate government work permits, visas, and security
  • work closely with the field treasurer and hospital administrator
  • serve as the government liaison, building trust with officials

The Need

ABWE’s work in Bangladesh is primarily medical, with ministry in many areas, and coordinating people and programs across them is demanding. The largest and most costly is Memorial Christian Hospital (MCH), serving since 1966. Today MCH cares for a population of more than 10 million and treats about 40,000 outpatients a year in a predominantly Muslim nation. Its specialties include obstetrics, general surgery, orthopedics, and family medicine, enough to help nearly any patient who walks through the door. Each year the staff performs close to 2,000 surgeries, delivers 1,500 babies, completes about 500 cesarean sections, and admits roughly 4,000 patients.

Your Impact

Memorial Christian Hospital plays a central role in reaching this region. Excellent, compassionate care offered in Christ’s name creates openness to the good news. Expatriate and Bangladeshi staff share truth with patients and families, and strong administration keeps every part of that witness running.

Jesus healed the sick and preached the gospel (Matthew 9:35). Will you help carry that hope to Bangladesh?
