Pilots and/or Mechanics in The Caribbean

The Position

ABWE is looking for motivated pilots and mechanics to launch an aviation ministry in the Caribbean.  The ABWE Caribbean vision is to advance Great Commission thinking and implementation among Caribbean churches resulting in making disciples and planting churches among the unengaged and unreached communities that number over one million people.  Using a light airplane, pilots and mechanics will work alongside national pastors to travel to various islands and provide training to churches in areas of evangelism, discipleship, systematic theology, Bible exposition, leadership development, and missions.

The Need

The Caribbean has experienced large numbers of people migrating from East Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and India who need to hear the gospel.  These immigrants are settling in mostly English-speaking countries and territories throughout the Caribbean islands.  The aviation ministry will be instrumental in equipping indigenous Caribbean churches to answer God’s call to “Go and make disciples” among these people groups.

The Impact

The best way to help fulfill the Great Commission in the Caribbean is to equip existing local churches with evangelism and discipleship skills to reach communities in their own islands.  We need pilots and mechanics with a heart for theological education and church planting for this ministry to succeed.  Will you consider joining our team?
