‘Flood the Nations’: Our Vision for 2026

ABWE casts a vision for abundant gospel presence among the nations in 2026 and beyond.

As we look toward 2026, I’ve been returning often to Habakkuk 2:14: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”

This is the vision driving us forward. We want to flood the nations with the gospel—to see the presence of Christ spread and multiply across the world through faithful men and women sent from local churches.

Rather than slipping into a scarcity mindset—casting a narrow vision to send just one more worker or access one more unreached people group—committing ourselves to “flood the nations” means an overabundance of gospel presence. It means asking the Lord to raise up workers in such numbers that it reshapes the landscape of global mission.

In the next several years, we want to help churches raise up and send hundreds of new missionaries—workers who are well trained, rooted in sound doctrine, equipped for cross-cultural ministry, and prepared to endure in difficult places.

Your support makes this possible. Through your partnership, we can prepare missionaries with depth, care for them in the field, and offer strategic direction toward the places with the least gospel access.

As we enter 2026, our prayer is simple: that through the faithful sending of churches and the generosity of partners like you, we might truly flood the nations with the gospel.

Thank you for standing with us in the work.

Grateful for you,

Paul L. Davis
