Great Things He Hath Done: 2023 Annual Report

Join us in giving God the glory for the great things we have witnessed him do through the ABWE global family of ministries.

From Message magazine issue "Post-Christian? Missions in the Shadow of Christendom"

Many of us know the rich, old hymn “To God Be the Glory” by heart—“To God be the glory, Great things he hath done, So loved he the world that he gave us his Son . . .” and on it goes.

In Christ, we have all we need. Yet the astonishing thing Scripture tells us is that, through Christ, God gives us everything else we need too (Matthew 6:33, 1 Corinthians 3:21, Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3). We see this firsthand every day in Christ’s mission as we constantly prove Hudson Taylor’s maxim: “God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.” This year, we saw sustained generosity from the body of Christ at all-time highs as ordinary believers gave sacrificially to advance the gospel, plant churches, and train leaders among the nations. So, in light of the abundant, all-supplying grace of the Lord, join us in giving God the glory—great things he has done!
