The Position
We have an ongoing need for a short-term or long-term certified English teacher to assist the work of several of the church planting teams in Spain.
The Need
While Spain has been an outwardly religious country for centuries and many Spaniards know of Jesus, few know Him intimately. Only about 400,000 people — less than 1 percent of the population — claim to be evangelicals, and only 44,300 are members of a local church. Additionally, more than 7,000 cities and towns in Spain have no evangelical witness. In fact, Spain has fewer evangelical Christians than many Muslim countries.
The Impact
Teacher missionaries have the unique opportunity to use their classroom as place of ministry. Along with teaching the curriculum, they are able to disciple their students and point them to the ultimate teacher: Jesus.
If you’re a teacher who loves teaching students about Jesus, we’ve got a place on the mission field for you.
