THE NEED

What began in 1973 with one teacher and handful of students in downtown Madrid has now grown into a vibrant, Christian school that serves nearly 100 students in grades 1 to 12. Evangelical Christian Academy (ECA) exists to serve families by equipping students in the academic disciplines, challenging them to love God, apply His truth, and care for others. The vision drives every facet of ECA’s existence. ECA offers a challenging, college preparatory curriculum in an American-based system. Students at ECA study Bible each year, and a Christian worldview is integrated into every aspect of the curriculum.

ECA is a mission school where all staff serve as volunteers in ministry, allowing us to keep tuition affordable for the missionary families which we serve. ECA provides a quality Christian education for missionary children whose parents minister in the Madrid area, in other parts of Europe and beyond. Working as an ABWE missionary, you’ll be part of a team to advance the Kingdom using your gifts and experience.
