He is Risen!
Death is defeated. The tomb is empty. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is alive!
The gospel is not wishful thinking or religious sentiment. It is history, power, and promise. Christ rose from the grave, defeating death and securing hope for the world.
That is why missionaries go to the nations and preach the gospel. Today we celebrate that we have a risen king, enthroned in heaven, reigning over all, and one day he will return to wipe away every tear. Praise be to God!
