Happy Thanksgiving from ABWE! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. It is a time when we can reflect on all that God has done in the past year. He has truly done great things—not just for ABWE, but also for his church around the world.
Here are a few ways we’ve seen God work this year:
- Through hurricane relief efforts here in the States to draw the lost to himself.
- Medical evangelism in places like Ukraine, West Africa, South Asia, and the Pacific lead to people placing their faith in Jesus and finding hope in desperate circumstances.
- We joyfully celebrated 50 years of faithful ministry with our brothers and sisters in Togo.
- New mission fields opened this past year, including places where little gospel light exists.
- Over 450 people attended our 24-Hour Demo events to see how they can take the next step in missions,
- More than 70 new missionaries gave their lives to the work of the gospel around the world.
We know that this is only possible through God’s blessing, the faithful service of those he calls, and the support of their senders.
Above all, we’re thankful for the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ and that He will build his church. He has rescued us from the wrath of God and brought us into his kingdom of peace that will never end.
