To share the gospel, we have to use words. After all, the Romans 10:17 says: “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
That’s why our missionaries make sure the life-giving words of Jesus are clearly understood in every culture in which they’re spoken, and why translation ministries take place in every country we’re in.
Since more than half of the world’s population can’t read or write, our missionaries often use gospel-based literacy programs to help people learn to read while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
Use Your Love for Translation on the Mission Field
We need qualified people to come alongside indigenous speakers and bring a passion to help others understand the gospel, working through translation projects such as:
- Audio-Visual Materials
- Bible studies
- English tutoring clubs
- Good Soil evangelism and discipleship materials
- Scripture translation
- Study tools
If you are passionate about translating scripture, we want to talk to you.
Is God calling you to use your skills on the mission field?
Opportunities with this Focus
Our team is looking for families and/or interns with a passion for ESL teaching.
Do you have a love for Jesus and a desire to serve Him? Do you feel drawn to serve in an area of the world where there are very few believers? If so, our Japan team is looking for student interns during the summer of 2021 to serve in various community outreach ministries--all for the sake of building relationships and sharing the Gospel in a country that is less than 1% evangelical.
Share your knowledge and enrich the community as an English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) teacher in the Balkans.
