“Until I went to Romania with Storytellers Abroad, I didn’t realize just how much impact I could have by using media for missions. Communicating visually benefits multiple groups of people: the person in need who is given a platform to tell their story, the producer who is able to give a voice to that person, missionaries who use what is produced to more effectively tell others about their ministry, and viewers who are introduced to real people and how they can help provide for real needs.” —Hannah Strayer, ABWE Missionary in Africa
Visual communicators are uniquely positioned to tell amazing stories of people being changed by the gospel.
ABWE’s Storytellers Abroad Missions Multimedia Workshops offer the opportunity to engage in a two-week, hands-on multimedia storytelling course with expert teachers from top media outlets on one of our many mission fields.
Students receive one-on-one instruction from some of the world’s top multimedia professionals, practice applying skills in real cross-cultural situations situations, and participate in meaningful critiques to learn how to turn their passion for multimedia into a genuine ministry.
