Watch: The Greatest Privilege: How Romanian Churches Serve Refugees and Deliver Aid to Ukraine

Churches and ABWE missionaries daily embody the gospel by helping Ukrainians displaced by war.

As soon as the first missiles struck Ukraine, a group of six Romanian churches strategized how they could help the Ukrainian refugees who began flooding across the border.

Aided by contributions from the Ukraine Crisis Fund, the Ukrainian Bucharest Churches (UBC22) quickly set up humanitarian centers to host refugees in their churches and organized convoys to deliver food and critical supplies to churches in war-torn Ukraine.

As Romanian pastor Sorin Deac explains, “The gospel is the engine of what we do. From day one we realized that we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to embody the gospel by serving these people.”

Watch as local pastors and missionaries share how 800 volunteers have united in serving God by assisting over 5,000 refugees and delivering more than 100 tons of food to churches inside Ukraine.
